Veneers are relatively thin facings made of porcelain, cemented/bonded to tooth primarily as a conservative treatment for cracks or discolorations. Lumineers are very thin veneers which often can be placed with little or no modification of tooth structure. Most Veneers are fabricated in a dental laboratory. Consequently, temporary veneers are worn until the final veneers are delivered to the patient. Under certain conditions, veneers can be made in our office using our cerec technology.
