Restorative Care

Dentures are constructed when a patient has no remaining teeth. Usually they can be constructed within 3 to 5 visits. During the visits, impressions are taken along with bite records and tooth selection. Currently, implants are being used to help support dentures. Partial dentures are used when the patient has remaining teeth. Metal hooks (clasps) or gum-colored clasps are used to hold the partial denture into place. Partial dentures are constructed with metal, acrylic or a combination of the two.
